Grief Counselling
Therapy for grief and bereavement for adults in Greenwich, Blackheath and online across the UK.
Grief can affect every part of life, and there is no single way to experience or move through it. I offer a compassionate space to talk about bereavement and other forms of loss, without expectations about how you should be feeling or how long grief should take.
I have specialist experience supporting people through grief and bereavement, including through my training with Cruse Bereavement Support.
You might come to therapy for:
Bereavement and grief – following the death of someone or something important to you.
Anticipatory grief – coping with an expected loss or the death of someone who is elderly or seriously ill.
Complicated or overwhelming grief – when grief feels particularly difficult to live with.
Relationship loss – the end of a relationship, friendship or important connection.
Identity and life changes – grieving a previous version of yourself or a life you expected to have.
Family and relationship difficulties – navigating changed relationships after a loss, processing an absence of family or childhood experiences you wish you had.
Loneliness and isolation – feeling disconnected from others while grieving.
Other significant losses – including changes in health, work, home, religion or personal circumstances.
You do not need to know what kind of support you need before starting therapy. Grief can be difficult to put into words, and we can take time to make sense of whatever you are experiencing.
