Hi, I’m Izzi
Qualified & Experienced
I am BACP-registered, with over seven years’ mental health experience including with NHS Talking Therapies & an LGBTQIA+ specialist charity.
Feeling messy, overwhelmed, angry or confused? There’s space for all of it here. I’ll support you in understanding your feelings in the context of your experiences and social context, rather than focusing on ‘symptoms’. I trust your capacity for self-understanding and will help you connect with your own insight at a deeper level.
As a neurodiverse and queer therapist myself, I warmly welcome people of all genders, sexualities and neurotypes into my practice. I also offer a limited number of lower-cost online slots at £45-55, depending on what feels manageable to you.
A Space For All of You

I also include my professional training in yoga, philosophy and walking therapy in my counselling practice to create a holistic approach.

FAQs

Therapy at One Practice begins with an initial consultation, which lasts up to 60 minutes and is usually held online. This session gives us the opportunity to explore what you would like to work on and get a feeling of whether we would be a good fit as client and therapist.
Ongoing sessions last 50 minutes, usually at the same time and place every week. This is a safe space for your to explore you feelings, notice any patterns in your experiences and perhaps start to make changes at a pace that feels right to you.
When we come to the end of our work, I recommend a final session to reflect on the therapy process, share concluding thoughts and consider how you may continue to apply your learnings beyond therapy.

I completely understand that life happens and sometimes you may need to cancel. I offer three free cancellations per year, where the fee will be waived provided that you cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice. Where availability allows, I will always offer an alternative session that takes place within four days of the original appointment.
If you are a shift worker, I will try to accommodate a more flexible weekly slot where availability allows. Please let me know if this applies to you.

Where available, lower-cost sessions are allocated on trust that the client needs them - no questions asked!
If you would prefer to meet before deciding whether to start therapy, I offer a 15-minute free introductory call where we can get a sense of what it might feel like to work together and you are welcome to ask any questions you may have.
