Counselling
I am a BACP-registered therapist, offering online counselling for adults across the UK. I also offer in-person sessions in Blackheath London, including walking therapy. I have worked in mental health and related fields since 2019, with experience as a therapist in the NHS and an LGBTQIA+ specialist charity. I offer open-ended therapy, allowing time for deeper exploration without the pressure to have everything figured out.
Rather than viewing distress as a set of ‘symptoms’, I understand it to be shaped through our relationships with ourselves, others and the wider social contexts we live within. Together, we can explore the ways you have learned to cope with your experiences, including those that may have once been necessary but no longer feel helpful.
Alongside my clinical training and experience, I hold a Master's Degree in Philosophy and am a registered yoga teacher. I draw on these elements to support you in finding a sense of safety from which questions of identity, meaning and belonging can be explored with curiosity and care.
Therapy Room: Blackheath Yoga, 35 Tranquil Vale, Blackheath, London SE3 0BU.

Therapy at One Practice begins with an initial consultation, which lasts up to 60 minutes and is usually held online via Konfidens. This session gives us the opportunity to explore what you would like to work on, review the contract and decide whether to continue working online or in-person.
Ongoing sessions last 50 minutes, usually at the same time and place every week. I typically work in an open-ended way and recommend an initial commitment to 12 weekly sessions to support the depth and effectiveness of the work. You are free to end therapy at any time.
When we come to the end of our work, I offer a final session to reflect on the therapy process, share concluding thoughts and consider how you may continue to apply your learnings beyond therapy.

I completely understand that life happens and sometimes you may need to cancel. I offer three free cancellations per year, where the fee will be waived provided that you cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice. Where availability allows, I will always offer an alternative session that takes place within four days of the original appointment.
If you are a shift worker, I will try to accommodate a more flexible weekly slot where availability allows. Please let me know during the introductory call if this applies to you.

Confidentiality is a very important part of therapy, as it helps to maintain a feeling of safety. As a duty of care, I may need to share information without your consent if I am concerned that there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others. This may involve contacting your GP or other appropriate services. I will only share the minimum necessary information, and will discuss this with you beforehand if possible.
